Yesterday, 19th June 2020 will go down in the history of Salford Foodbank.
Yesterday all the Food Stock from our former home at Mocha Parade in Lower Broughton was brought to our new HQ and warehouse in MediaCityUK.
A fleet of vans from our wonderful supporters: Aime Gott at Manchester United Foundation, Vanessa Barlow at Seddons Construction and Tracy Roberts at Electricity North West, together with other volunteers, including Sam Dimmick and Fintan from RM Fitness, and our own trustees, managed to move, in excess of, 350 crates of food to our new premises.
And all in the space of three hours.
We look forward to the weeks, months, and years ahead, as we continue to support those in need in Salford.
