Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Whilst we always appreciate your donations of food, we often have excessive quantities of some foodstuffs.
Currently we have more than enough of Baked Beans, Soup, Pasta, Tea and Cereal.....
...but shortages of Tinned Fruit and Potatoes and Jars of Jam.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three-day supply of food. We have a shopping list of standard items that go in our food parcels.
Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now and there is a copy of our standard shopping list below, but please check with us before donating any large quantity of food.

Please donate through our Supermarket collection points above or call us to arrange a donation time at our Kansas Avenue warehouse.
We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks, or local food clubs, to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the Salford area they may be.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
