As we gradually open the Roadmap, out of Covid-19 restrictions, to some sort of ‘normality’, Salford Foodbank is preparing to re-open our Distribution Centres to give a more personal welcome to our clients.
Progressively over the next few weeks, we will be able to offer our clients a cuppa, a chat, and if appropriate a prayer.
Moving further forward we will re-introduce professional advisers at our Distribution Sessions to help, advise and signpost our clients.
This is all a new and exciting challenge to many of our volunteers, who have never experienced a ‘cafe style’ Foodbank session.
As part of this process we will be moving our Little Hulton operation from Big Local to Bethany Family Worship Centre on Kenyon Way.
We look forward to this, but will be sorry to leave Alison at Big Local and thank them for their help over the last few months.
