From our start in 2010 at the Church of the Ascension in Lower Broughton (which subsequently burned down….not our fault), to Mocha Parade a few hundred yards away. Seemed like Paradise, but not. Gaps between glass and frames, made winters needing thick coats and scarves. Storage again minimal, extra sourced close by. Problems with vermin made it a challenge.
Amazingly, as an answer to much prayer, and in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, an offer from Peel L&P, our amazing facility in MediaCityUK, came into being.
With a change in our operating model developed as a result of Covid, we were able to open our existing eight Distribution Centres across Salford.
Many of our volunteers have been with us throughout these trouble times. We salute them.
But we believe that the hand of God has been upon us, and we pray for his support as we go forward.
The challenge is greater than ever, but we believe that with Him we will be able to meet that challenge.
