We’re looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our staff team.
As the need for our service has grown by 50% this year, we are looking to expand our staff team to meet the growing demand. We are a busy team based at a warehouse in Media City, distributing food parcels to 8 centres across Salford. We are part of the Trussell Trust, the network of foodbanks in the UK, who campaign for change to end the need for foodbanks. We are currently building on our ‘Together for Change’ strategy, including our Financial Inclusion project offering welfare support within our foodbank centres.
We are recruiting for a Foodbank Warehouse Coordinator to manage all aspects of the day to day running of the warehouse, from taking in food donations from members of the public, to managing stock levels. The role will also be the lead for the teams of volunteers who help in the warehouse every day – both our regular volunteers and new teams of corporate volunteers. You’ll be working in a friendly environment where every day is different, alongside a team of 5 part-time staff and over 80 volunteers.
